Foot-Feet Podiatry — caring for every step

Services and prices

Every price here is the price you pay, at your home, with no call-out fee and no “from”. I would rather you knew before you rang.

Second person in the same home: £50. I am already at your address, so the only extra is my time. Couples and neighbours book together all the time.

The other things worth knowing

Need seeing urgently?

If you need me within six hours, add £30 and I will get to you today wherever I can. Pain in a foot is not something to sit on.

Evening appointments

5pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday, for a £10 surcharge. It buys you a slot where a working son or daughter can be in the room, and where you are not fitting a Podiatrist around your day. Next-day appointments can usually be arranged.

Further afield

Outside my core area — Uxbridge, Radlett, Stanmore and similar — there is a £20 travel supplement. Inside it, there is no call-out fee at all.

Paying

Card or cash at the appointment, or online when you book. Whichever you prefer. Nothing is required up front and the price does not change either way.

What each visit actually involves

Routine foot care

Toenails cut and filed back to a comfortable shape, thickened nails reduced, corns removed, hard skin and callus debrided, cracked heels cleaned up and dressed. I use sterilised instruments brought fresh to every home.

Diabetic foot care

Everything above, plus a proper assessment: I check the pulses in your feet, test sensation with a monofilament, look for any breakdown in the skin, and write down what I find so you have a record to show your GP or diabetes nurse. If I see something that needs a doctor, I will tell you plainly and help you get seen.

Nail surgery, at home

For a toenail that keeps becoming ingrown, the permanent answer is a partial nail avulsion: the offending edge of nail is removed under local anaesthetic and treated with phenol so it does not grow back. I carry this out at your home using a sterile field, and I do the follow-up dressings myself — they are included in the price, not extra. You will be given written aftercare and my mobile number, and I will tell you exactly what to watch for and when to ring me.

Nail surgery always begins with a £50 consultation, and that is an assessment rather than a treatment. If you go ahead, the £50 comes off the £395 — so the total is still £395 and you pay £345 on the day. If you decide against it, or I advise against it, you have paid £50 for a proper assessment and owe nothing more. I will not agree to nail surgery over the phone, because it is not always the right answer — and if conservative treatment will do, I will say so.

Book, or just ring and ask

If you are not sure what you need, ring me. I would rather spend five minutes on the phone than have you book the wrong thing.
